RESERVED Antique Navajo Rug - Transitional
This rug is an excellent example of the transitional style prevalent at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Unusually large with exquisite vivid reds that survived the test of time, the rug feature Navajo crosses, symbolic of the four sacred directions. The rug has extremely fine and tight weave that really shows the attention of detail and pure beauty. It was cared for in the same family for generations.
